Katerina Gregos is the current artistic director of Argos, a Brussels based centre for art and media.

From 1997 to 2002 she was Director of the Deste Foundation, Centre for Contemporary Art in Athens.

Katerina Gregos has curated exhibitions featuring Greek as well as international artists, has authored numerous artist's catalogues,  and is a regular contributor to Contemporary, London and Time Out, Athens as well as other international art periodicals. She has lectured and participated in conferences, biennials, and art fairs internationally.

In 2004, she curated “Britannia Works” for the British Council in four venues in Athens, the solo show of Sarah Ciraci at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Rome (MACRO), and the solo exhibition of Maria Papadimitriou at the Reina Sofia Museum, Madrid.

Katerina Gregos was also commissioner for Greece at ARCO ’04 Madrid and co-curated a number of projects within this framework including, among others: “Breakthrough! Greece 2004: Contemporary Perspectives in the Visual Arts”, for Alcala 31, Madrid; and “Nine Muses I Presume?”, for La Casa Encendida, Madrid.

She is one of the curators for the exhibition “The Mediterraneans, currently showing at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Rome (MACRO).

Other curatorial projects include "Channel Zero", for The Netherlands Media Art Institute/Montevideo TBA, Amsterdam (2004), “VZ – The Video Biennial”, Tel Aviv (guest curator) (2004) and a project for the Green Line in Cyprus (2005).

Katerina Gregos is a member of the Executive Board of CIMAM, ICOM’s Committee for Collections and Museums of Modern and Contemporary Art; also a member of IKT (the International Association of Curator of Contemporary Art) and  AICA, the International Associations of Art Critics.
