Gianni Jetzer has been the Director of the Swiss Institute in New York since 2006.
He was previously Director of the Neue Kunst Halle St.Gallen.
Jetzer has also been a freelance curator for various projects at the Helmhaus Zurich, Expo 02, Art Basel, the Stedelijk Museum Sittard, and at other places.
From 1998-2001, Gianni Jetzer was a curator at the Migros Museum for Contemporary Art in Zurich.
He frequently contributes to newspapers, magazines and art publications.
In 2005, he received the Swiss Art Award for curatorial achievements.
